Lockwood Good Shepherd Foundation

The Lockwood Good Shepherd Foundation exists to preserve a promise that has served our community for generations: that our seniors can age with dignity, compassion, and exceptional care close to the people and places they call home. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, every gift helps replace our 50-year-old care facility with a modern home where seniors from Lockwood and the surrounding 25-mile area will continue to receive the care they deserve.

For more than five decades, our community has depended on this facility to care for parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. It has been a place of healing, comfort, and compassion—a place where lasting memories have been made and lives have been touched. Today, we have the opportunity to build on that legacy by creating a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the needs of today while ensuring quality care for future generations.

The new facility will bring skilled nursing, memory care, and residential care together under one roof while expanding access to vital rehabilitation services. Residents will benefit from on-site physical rehabilitation, and community members throughout the region will have access to outpatient therapy, allowing them to recover from surgery, illness, or injury close to home.
